This engagement ring sets its marquise cut diamond east-west, meaning the stone lies sideways across the finger rather than pointing toward the knuckle. Petal-shaped prongs cradle the diamond at each tip and curve, echoing the marquise's natural points while holding it securely in this sideways orientation. Set in rose gold, the horizontal stone gives the ring a distinct, elongated look.

Because the marquise lies east-west, the ring reads wider across the finger, giving the illusion of extra coverage without a larger stone, while keeping its classic elongated shape.

The band is lined with French pave round diamonds, a setting style using fine V-shaped cuts between each stone so more of the diamond's surface shows and less metal interrupts the sparkle. This close-set pave continues from the shoulders toward the center stone, letting the round diamonds catch light alongside the marquise. The petal prongs holding the center stone are finished with the same symmetry as the pave work.
